TÖMER Exam

About the Tomer Institute

Tomer Institute was established in 1984 by the University of Ankara with the aim of teaching foreign students the Turkish language, especially students wishing to study in Turkey. Later on, the institute expanded to include nearly twenty languages.

Tomer Institute has 7 branches in Turkey and one in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. It educates nearly 60,000 students annually. The institute also teaches other languages besides Turkish, such as English, German, French and others.

Study Program

The TOMER Institute study program (Tomer curriculum) of the University of Ankara consists of six levels, each level consists of two courses (two courses), the duration of one course is 80 hours.

The student who is outside Turkey must register for at least one course (half level) and pay the required fees in order to be able to obtain an official letter to support obtaining a student visa / visa. After that, the student can follow the legal procedures with the Turkish embassy in his country to obtain a study visa so that he can travel to Turkey.

Please note that this cost is not refundable, as it is the cost of registering one course for the student, and this cost is not for extracting the acceptance letter only, but the student can start studying the course in which he was registered to learn the Turkish language directly upon his arrival in Turkish territory.

In the event that the embassy refuses to obtain the study visa, the student will not be able to recover the amount paid as well, and this is in accordance with the laws of the Tomer Institute for foreign students. The student must also follow up with us to determine the date of attendance and know the exact dates of the courses, given that the TOMER Institute courses have predetermined dates. Therefore, the student must notify us of his arrival date at least 7 working days in advance.
